Project Team

The redesign process is very collaborative and teamwork is a big part of it.

Working Group at WC

The working group is taking care of the main communications with White Whale. We provide them with the information, imagery, lodging, timeline input, scheduling, etc. Possibly the most important job we have is facilitating their access to Washington College—and to the WC community.

Marcia Landskroener, director of communications, serves as project manager for the web project. She is looking forward to seeing your stories come to life on the web.

Tim Fields, web editor, will be learning the ins and outs of LiveWhale CMS to integrate it with College systems already in use.

Lindsay Bergman, electronic communications assistant, records the journey of the redesign in this blog. She is excited to collaborate with the campus community.

Shane Brill, web and multimedia developer, is building a library of short video and photographic stories that illustrate the many dimensions of the Washington College experience.

Sarah Snyder, college relations coordinator, makes sure all the ducks are in a row so that the project moves smoothly.

Aundra Weissert, associate director of admissions, looks at the website through the eyes of prospective students and parents.

Diane Landskroener, director of creative services, will be working closely with Janie Porche, White Whale’s designer, to create a great-looking and beautifully functioning site.

Kay MacIntosh, director of media relations, will be working with White Whale to create a fabulous news blog and an easy, intuitive way for Web visitors to learn about coming events and College news.

Meredith Davies Hadaway, VP for college relations and marketing, will be looking at messaging, strategy, and how this project fits with the College’s overall communications and marketing efforts.

Web Advisory Group at WC

The Web Advisory Group is made up of representatives from various campus constituencies. You can chat with any of these folks with questions about the process. They will be weighing in on important decisions about the web redesign.

Washington College Community

The rest of the Washington College community is invited to give us feedback in the form of comments on blog posts, conversations, emails, sharing information through this site, and carrier pigeons (just let us know via email if you’re using the last one so we can open a window in Bunting Hall).

Your stories and input are a valuable part to the redesign process. Please feel free to voice your comments and questions at any juncture, and we’ll be happy to chat.
